Human Society and its Environment

In the Human Society and its Environment (HSIE) area of study, students explore varied subjects that cover areas such as history, geography, people, societies and culture. HSIE provides opportunities for the development of critical thinking skills and knowledge and understanding of physical and social environments, different cultures and their place in it. In Year 9 the HSIE department offers Commerce and Elective History.
